We from UVR-FIA GmbH, a medium-sized enterprise in Freiberg with 25 highly qualified employees, have been your partner since 1991 whenever it comes to research and development in the field of mechanical process engineering and preparation of mineral resources. Over 350 machines and devices are installed on an overall laboratory area of 1,400 m² to perform laboratory tests. In addition, we possess a large technical centre 20 m in height, with three working levels and an area of 1,600 m² to be able to erect complete pilot-scale preparation systems and to test under conditions close to the practice in industry.

As of now we are looking for a

Machine operator / mechanic / lateral entrant (technical occupation)
(M/F/D)

for an unlimited employment contract.

Your duties:

• Install and remove test facilities;
• Operate and monitor test facilities and conduct tests under the guidance of a project manager;
• Conduct analyses as directed;
• Create reports;
• Perform simple repairs.

Ideal candidates should meet the following requirements:

• A successfully completed professional training is desirable, or work-related job experience in a technical occupation;
• Professional newcomers are also cordially invited to join our team;
• Forklift license (desirable);
• Craft skills;
• You will usually work normal shift hours (6:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) 40 hrs./week;
• Willingness to work shifts (2-shift system – morning shift/afternoon shift) as required and when necessary;
• You are expected to work carefully, also under pressure, to demonstrate flexibility and to be a good team player;
• Basic skills in Excel;
• Basic command of the German language;
• No clearly structured curriculum vitae required.
