Agglomeration
We use an EIRICH mixer (R08, 75l) or pelletizing plates (up to 900 mm in diameter) for batchwise pelletizing by way of wet agglomeration. Binders can also be used. In the simplest case, water is used to pelletize ceramic materials, for example. Subsequently, the pellets can be cured in our industrial driers.
Technical possibilities
Mixing
Single- and double-shaft mixers in different sizes and an EIRICH mixer (with a volume of 75 l) are provided for the mixing of solid mineral substances.
Furthermore, it is possible to process mixing components in ball mills. The materials to be mixed are intensively stirred by the rotary movement of the drum and the resulting movement of the milling body. Liquid phases can be introduced to the solid phase via nozzles.
Technical possibilities
- Intensive mixers (EIRICH)
- Ploughshare® mixers (LÖDIGE)
- Paddle mixers
- Ball mills
Thickening/dewatering/drying
Several settling tanks and one lamella separator are provided for the thickening of thin slurries or suspensions. Flocking agents can also be used where necessary. Thicker slurries are dewatered by way of chamber filter presses. Small quantities can also be dewatered in funnel filters and dried in dry cabinets (with a gross volume up to 1,000 litres).
Technical possibilities
- Lamella clarifier (plastic, L x W x H = 1,800 x 720 x 2,330 mm)
- Thickeners up to a volume of 5 m³
- Chamber filter presses
- Dry cabinets
